CONCEPT:

The distinction between human and bee vision is the factor contributing to the choice of blue windows. Inside the playhouse, children can experience a bee's perspective while benefiting from the soothing blue light and tranquil ambiance.

The core concept behind this playhouse design is centered on the concept of "LIFE."

The primary focus lies on form, light, materials, and colors, all of which play crucial roles in creating an animated play environment.

  • The central structure is designed based on a simple, natural, and familiar shape—the bee's dwelling.

  • The openings are strategically placed in three directions, enabling children to experience the sunrise, the warm midday sunlight, and the sunset. This dynamic interaction with light ensures that the house remains vibrant and dynamic, shifting throughout the day.

  • The primary material used is natural yellow wood, devoid of solid coloring. This choice allows kids to feel the wood's texture, appreciate its distinctive qualities in each section, and sense its vitality. It's possible to select from a range of natural yellow woods such as sugar pine. Lastly, the chosen color embodies the essence of "LIFE" itself.
